Christine Kessens

Christine Kessens is a physics major and math minor in the class of 2026. She is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended Washburn High School. She did a project on Edwin Hubble in the 8th grade, and has been interested in astronomy and cosmology ever since. After taking physics and astronomy classes in high school, she knew that was what she wanted to study in college. After arriving at Kenyon, she began attending Cosmo Lunch and joined Cosmo Lab during the second semester of her freshman year. She is excited to continue learning about Cosmo and research!

Outside of Hayes, Christine enjoys swimming and is a member of the Women’s Swim and Dive team. She also enjoys spending time outside, crocheting and cross-stitching with the Fiber Arts Club, and doing puzzles.
