Eva Nesbit

Eva Nesbit, class of 2016, is a physics major with a scientific computing concentration at Kenyon College. She is from Columbus, Ohio where she attended the Columbus School for Girls. She began attending cosmology group meetings during her freshman year and began research with the group after her sophomore year. She is interested in gravitational waves, non-canonical cosmology, and is currently working on implementing general relativity into GABE.

In addition to doing cosmological research, Eva spends most of her time doing physics homework, serving as SPS president for the Kenyon chapter, and helping to direct our science outreach program, Girls' Science Saturdays'. She also enjoys playing her violin, going on hikes and bike rides in Kenyon’s BFEC, and seeing live music.
