Jack Thatcher
Biography

Jack Thatcher studies physics and math at Kenyon College, and is a member of the class of 2029. As a kid, Jack was interested in everything, but the physics of our Universe was of primary concern. Jack fell in love with physics and math in high school, and after arriving at Kenyon, he joined Cosmo Lab in the spring semester of his first year. Jack is currently studying the interactions of string theory motivated particles, called the modulus and axion, in order to explore the efficacy of current theoretical standard model extensions to explain cosmological phenomena. Jack's primary physics/math interests are: high energy particle physics, quantum mechanics, representation theory, differential geometry, black holes, and the early Universe.
Jack also likes many other things, such as: Ontology in the context of physics, all sorts of electronic music, burgers (and delicious food in general), and powerlifting. Outside of Hayes, Jack can be found in the gym, and when he is done there he can be found at home, playing video games when time allows and also sleeping, which Jack loves to do.
