Furqan Dar
Bio:
Furqan Dar is a senior at Kenyon College from Pakistan. He has attended many a school in his life, but his High School was Roots College International, Millennium Campus. He has purportedly wanted to be an Astroparticle Physicist since childhood. This year shall be his second exposure to Physics research. His interest in Cosmology has only grown deeper over the years and greatly enjoys working in our group.
Apart from his research, he can be mainly found doing (and sometimes enjoying) Physics homework, hitting the court with Kenyon College Tennis Club or as being a brother of Delta Tau Delta (Delts) - where he is also their Academic Chair. He is also co-directing LADS, a middle school outreach program to encourage middle school students in Knox County to partake in as much science as possible, and more. Rumour has it that he is also an excellent cook, and that he makes a mean curry, but that has yet to be verified.
