Zach

Zach is a rising senior (’16) at Kenyon College majoring in Math and Physics and concentrating in Scientific Computing. He was raised in the Chicago area and attended high school in Highland Park, a northern suburb. He began his research career in Number Theory (investigating perfect numbers and abundancy outlaws); however, he eventually realized that the Cosmology group would provide a perfect opportunity to pursue his interest in theoretical physics and joined the group in the fall of 2014.

Outside of his academic pursuits, Zach swims for Kenyon’s varsity team, serves as a lead tutor for various math and physics courses, and directs our science outreach program, Learning and Doing Science. He enjoys reading, breathing, music, and cooking.
